On Thursday 4 September 2024, Hope-FX proudly supported Royal Fitness London, a unique fitness initiative run by Tom Holloway, ex-Royal Marine and current Metropolitan Police Armed Response Officer.
Training from the front line
Tom brings military discipline and functional training to civilians, combining grit, structure, and mental resilience to build unbreakable performance.
“Royal Fitness London was built from the front lines, not a corporate gym. We don’t do shortcuts. We do structure, discipline, and results—one rep, one round, one challenge at a time.” — Tom Holloway
This approach not only strengthens the body but also promotes mental health well-being, making group training a supportive, empowering experience.
Collaboration with Bromley Y
The event welcomed over 25 participants from Bromley Y, a local charity supporting young people and adults through counselling, family therapy, and group sessions.
The collaboration highlighted the importance of community-led fitness in tackling mental health challenges, encouraging teamwork, laughter, and resilience.
Voices from the day
Jenny Holloway, Founder of Hope-FX and CEO of Fashion-Enter / FashionCapital, shared:
“What a positive engagement there was—such fun and laughter during the self-defence and boxing exercises. Getting fit in a group environment really does bring out the team effort in participants. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves.”
Special thanks were also given to Harry & Harry and Zac for their support in making the event a success.
Next steps
The success of this collaboration shows how fitness, discipline, and community spirit can directly improve mental health and resilience.
