Seminars for schools, colleges & companies

Empowering young people

At Hope-FX, we believe in empowering young people with knowledge, skills, and confidence for self help. Our seminars are designed to provide both practical life skills and creative outlets, helping participants build resilience and pursue their passions.

Don't let drugs define you

This seminar offers honest, relatable guidance to help young people navigate the pressures around drug use. Through real-life stories, interactive discussions, and practical strategies, participants learn about the risks of drugs and gain the confidence to make positive choices.

This workshop provides a supportive space for open dialogue, empowering young people to take control of their future.

Fashion Workshops

Our fashion workshops give young people hands-on experience in fashion illustration, pattern cutting, sewing, and both traditional and digital printing techniques. We also introduce state-of-the-art, ethical digital technologies, encouraging sustainable practices and creative expression in fashion.

Since 2023 Hope-FX has been working with the North London Mental Health Trust (Barnet Camden,  Enfield, Haringey Islington) with Early Intervention and Prevention. This has been a highly successful program with the fashion workshops operating for a six month period. It was so successful it’s been nominated for a major award with the Health Service Journal.

Organisational Well-being

Hope-FX can offer any organisation support to ensure their staff are being supported with their mental health. By operating a five-point plan we send our trained staff into your place of work and we research, create and implement plans to optimise the best working environment for your staff and aid in safeguarding the company against claims.

FAQs

Our “Don’t let drugs define you” workshop provides young people with honest, practical guidance to understand the risks of drug use and develop strategies for making positive choices. The sessions include real-life stories, interactive discussions, and actionable advice to empower participants to take control of their futures.

Our fashion workshops focus on upcycling for sustainability and mental health. These hands-on sessions teach participants how to transform old garments into new, unique pieces, promoting creativity, reducing textile waste, and supporting mental well-being. The workshops are suitable for all skill levels.

Both workshops are designed for young people, but they can also be tailored to suit schools, youth organisations, and community groups. The fashion workshops are suitable for anyone interested in learning creative skills, regardless of their prior experience.
