Becoming a Royal Marine Commando isn’t just about physical endurance—it’s about resilience, discipline, and an unbreakable mindset. It’s about learning to navigate adversity, push through discomfort, and stay strong even when everything feels like it’s working against you. My time in the Marines shaped me in ways I never could have imagined. It taught me that true strength isn’t just physical—it’s mental and emotional. It’s about facing challenges head-on, overcoming self-doubt, and finding the inner will to keep going.
But when my time in the Corps came to an end, I faced a different battle—one that wasn’t fought on a battlefield but within. The transition to civilian life wasn’t easy. I had spent years training to endure the toughest conditions, and suddenly, I was left asking: What next? How could I take the lessons I’d learned and use them to make a real difference?
That’s how Royal Resilience was born.
I realised that the same principles that built me in the Marines—discipline, mental toughness, and a strong support system—are exactly what young people and parents need when facing the challenges of mental health and addiction. I’ve seen firsthand how life’s struggles—whether it’s trauma, anxiety, or the pull of substance abuse—can break even the strongest individuals. But I also know that with the right mindset, support, and tools, we can rebuild, recover, and come back stronger.
My mission is simple: to help young people develop resilience before they reach their breaking point, and to empower parents with the knowledge and strength to support them.
- For young people: You are stronger than you think. No matter how dark it feels, there is a way forward. Through structure, accountability, and mental conditioning, you can take control of your life, break negative cycles, and build a future that isn’t dictated by past mistakes or struggles.
- For parents: Supporting a child through addiction or mental health struggles is one of the hardest battles you will ever face—but you don’t have to do it alone. Just like in the Marines, having the right strategies, tools, and team around you makes all the difference. Together, we can create a plan that supports both your child and yourself.
This isn’t just about fitness or overcoming addiction—it’s about building mental fortitude, breaking destructive patterns, and creating a life of purpose. True strength comes from within, and my goal is to help families discover just how strong they really are.
From Commando to Coach, my mission remains the same: helping people push beyond what they thought was possible.
This isn’t just a program. It’s a movement. A commitment to resilience. And I’m here to lead from the front.
